Toxic: America's Water Crisis takes us on a journey through the stink, muck and government complacency that is affecting waterways in the country's most populated states: New York, Florida and California. From water that will poison your skin to underground water pump collapses that creates 80-yard long craters in families' backyards, it's an investigation into the bleak reality of state water systems that are literally making holes in the nation. In New York, VICE host Emerson Rosenthal happily dives into the "toxic nightmare" of the Hudson River only to find out he's bathing in a gigantic pool of feces alongside cancer immune, mutated fish. We then head to Florida to investigate the state's system of water pumping that has led to mammoth sinkholes sucking in houses, cars and anything else on the Earth's surface. Finally, we travel to California to uncover the "water war" and the state's 40-year fight for water ownership.
